Je reviens cinq minutes sur Nick Cave<\/strong> et le Cabaret Vert parce qu\u2019on vient de me raconter un truc que j\u2019ai d\u2019abord pris pour une connerie.<\/p>\n

Sauf que non.<\/p>\n

Plusieurs personnes pr\u00e9sentes me confirment la sc\u00e8ne, dont une de nos juniors qui \u00e9tait plac\u00e9e devant, \u00e0 la barricade, et qui a tout vu.<\/p>\n

Pendant Red Right Hand<\/em>, Warren Ellis fait du Warren Ellis.<\/p>\n

Pour ceux qui connaissent le personnage, cette phrase pourrait presque suffire.<\/p>\n

Pour les autres : Warren Ellis, c\u2019est le violoniste, multi-instrumentiste, barbu mystique et compagnon de route de Nick Cave depuis des d\u00e9cennies. Un musicien absolument monstrueux qui poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement sur sc\u00e8ne un rapport assez personnel avec les lois de la physique et la conservation du mat\u00e9riel.<\/p>\n

Il joue.<\/p>\n

Il a un rapport physique \u00e0 la musique.<\/p>\n

Et les archets ont parfois tendance \u00e0 quitter leur zone d\u2019utilisation r\u00e9glementaire.<\/p>\n

Un archet de Warren Ellis dans l\u2019arcade<\/h2>\n

Donc vendredi soir, pendant Red Right Hand<\/em>, l\u2019un d\u2019eux est donc parti.<\/p>\n

Jusque-l\u00e0, visiblement, rien de totalement exceptionnel dans l\u2019univers de Warren Ellis.<\/p>\n

Petit probl\u00e8me.<\/p>\n

Cette fois, il y avait quelqu\u2019un sur la trajectoire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L\u2019archet arrive dans la tronche d\u2019un spectateur et lui ouvre l\u2019arcade.<\/p>\n

Et l\u00e0, la sc\u00e8ne devient magnifique.<\/p>\n

Le final vocal du morceau s\u2019arr\u00eate un peu plus t\u00f4t que d\u2019habitude. Nick Cave s\u2019excuse et, selon notre t\u00e9moin plac\u00e9 devant, demande imm\u00e9diatement \u00e0 Warren Ellis de pr\u00e9senter lui aussi ses excuses.<\/p>\n

En fran\u00e7ais.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tout de suite.<\/p>\n

Je n\u2019ai pas les mots exacts de Nick Cave et je ne vais donc pas les inventer, mais l\u2019esprit rapport\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9change tient \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s dans : Warren. Putain. Tu t\u2019excuses. En fran\u00e7ais.<\/p>\n

Et Warren s\u2019ex\u00e9cute.<\/p>\n

Il promet en fran\u00e7ais de ne plus balancer ses affaires dans la gueule des gens.<\/p>\n

Puis le spectateur part se faire soigner.<\/p>\n

Et selon un autre t\u00e9moin qui l\u2019aurait recrois\u00e9 un peu plus tard, il aurait gard\u00e9 l\u2019archet.<\/p>\n

Ce qui me para\u00eet finalement constituer un arrangement commercial assez honn\u00eate.<\/p>\n

J\u2019avais \u00e9crit ce matin \u00e0 propos de Warren Ellis : \u00ab Le corps ne bouge plus beaucoup. L\u2019univers int\u00e9rieur, en revanche, semble toujours pr\u00e9senter de graves anomalies. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Je maintiens.<\/p>\n

Et j\u2019ai maintenant une pens\u00e9e particuli\u00e8re pour son roadie, qui doit avoir d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 au fil des ann\u00e9es une capacit\u00e9 assez exceptionnelle \u00e0 rep\u00e9rer le moment pr\u00e9cis o\u00f9 Warren commence \u00e0 partir et o\u00f9 il devient n\u00e9cessaire de mettre les objets fragiles et le public \u00e0 l\u2019abri.<\/p>\n

Maintenant, je cherche \u00e9videmment la photo du type qui a pris l\u2019archet mystique de Warren Ellis dans la trogne.<\/p>\n

Je suis jalouse.<\/p>\n
